What Do Senior Moms Really Want For Mother's Day This Year?

Thanks to spring and summer, flowers and sunshine have come back into our lives. This time of year is also when we start looking forward to spring breaks and summer vacations with the ones we love. Holidays like Mothers' Day remind us of family we're thankful for, and how we can give back to them.

With gift-giving in mind, we asked our Members a few questions about the upcoming holiday in an email survey: what plans you might have, and what technology you use to stay connected. Does technology help you to express gratitude, love and care to the Moms in your life? Or, if you're a Mom yourself, do you prefer traditional methods of communication for special days?

We heard from many of our Member Moms, loud and clear, and the results were surprising! You can see our favorite survey findings in our Bask Infographic above. To recap: More than 50% of senior Moms responded that in-person visits are the gift they want most for Mother's Day -- but only 1 in 4 believe they will actually receive one. The survey also revealed that 2/3 of senior Moms do not know how to start a video chat, and 1/3 do not know how to open an e-card.
