If you are using Windows XP and have unwanted or unused programs on your PC, you can easily delete them to free up space on your hard drive.

Here's how. Open your Start button at the bottom left of your taskbar. Select "Run," and a small dialog box will appear.

Click your cursor in the empty field and type "appwiz.cpl." Click "OK," and a larger window will appear. It's labeled "Add or Remove Programs" at the top. This window lists all of the programs that are currently installed on your PC.

Scroll through the list to find the program you want to uninstall. Click it once to select it, and options will appear, including buttons to "Change" or "Remove" the application. If you're sure you want to remove it, click "Remove," and the unwanted program is gone. Simple as that!
